I have never had to get bad credit private student loans because I have always had good credit, but the process is pretty much the exact same. The reason for this is pretty simple actually. A bank is not going to loan someone money that is at a high risk to not pay them back. If you are trying to get a private student loan for school then chances are you have already maxed out the federal loans available to you.

So you are now probably wondering how you get a bad credit private student loan. Well the answer may not be exactly what you are hoping to hear. It will be extremely hard for you to get approved for private student loans with bad credit. The only way most any lender will give you the money is if one you make a lot of money or two you have a cosigner to sign the loan documents with you.
