Be able to give this type of card because you’re basically securing that if you fail to repay whatever you put on the card the bank or credit card company can recover the money from the deposit you put them. These types of cards are great for those that have no credit history or for those that have poor credit history and are looking to repair their credit.

If you’re looking for a good credit card no credit history option, then the two above options are going to be your best bets. They will provide you with the means to establish credit without digging yourself into a big hole of debt. They will help to slowly increase your credit rating to the point where you can be as considered to have great credit for excellent credit, which can be very beneficial in the future.

Other than that you should be able to find no credit credit cards to help you start building credit.

One of the easiest things to do is to go to your bank and apply for a credit card. This is probably the easiest place to get an unsecured card because they already know your financial standing as well as some financial history. Another option would be to fill out and send in any credit card offers that you may have received in the mail. You might not be receiving offers in the mail anymore because many credit card companies have stopped sending them out to people with bad credit.

I’m not going to lie it can be very difficult to improve your credit score if you have a long history of not paying your bills. Just remember to have faith that by consistently taking care of your finances your credit score will improve.  We know it’s not very fun to have to go through something like this in order to improve your credit but if you are not able to obtain a credit card that is unsecured then you really don’t have much option other than to go with a secured card.
